This is unexpected. Micromax which went into a hibernation mode after the launch of its Superfone has now come up with a lighter version of the superfone. Micromax Superfone Lite A75 is Micromax’s latest Android phone which runs on Android 2.3 and costs just Rs. 8999. Micromax Superfone Lite A75 comes with a 650 MHz processor and sports a 3.75 inch capacitive touch screen. And yes, Superfone Lite A75 is a dual SIM phone. Now that’s more like Micromax.
Micromax Superfone Lite A75 (that’s a mouthful) is a 3G phone with WiFi on-board and memory which can be expandable to 32 GB. In addition to the dual SIM (GSM+GSM), A75 comes with dual cameras. Knowing Micromax well, I assume it would be a 3G+2G combination. Because that’s where the real value is.
Micromax seems to have done its homework. It always does. In addition to packing in dual sims and dual cameras in a little package which costs you Rs. 8999, Superfone Lite A75 comes pre-loaded with some useful apps like Saavn (Music app), Times of India (I always read it as Crimes of India, not sure why) and Netqin Anti-virus app.
Dual SIM Android phones are still a rarity. We have Spice Mi350, Spice Mi270, and Motorola Glam (CDMA+GSM). Micromax Superfone Lite A75 has some clear advantages in its price, dual cameras and Android 2.3.
Micromax continues to dazzle the Indian gadget world.
