Honor is all set to launch its new device Honor 6X in India today at an event in New Delhi at 12 pm IST. The Smartphone had launched in China in October last year. The biggest highlight of this smartphone is its dual camera setup. It will be available exclusively on Amazon.
The Honor 6X was launched in 3 variants in China – 3GB RAM/32GB, 4GB RAM/32GB and 4GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage, priced at CNY 999 ( about Rs. 9,900 ) going up to CNY 1,599 ( about Rs.15,800 ). The Variants that will launch in India is yet not clear. The phone was launched in Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue and Rose Gold color variants. The device comes with a hybrid sim slot and runs EMUI 4.1 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also has finger print scanner at back.

Coming to display Honor 6X sports a 5.5-inch ( 1080×1920 pixel ) full-HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass protection and is powered by a Krin 655 octa-core SoC. Honor 6X features a dual rear camera setup with one 12-megapixel sensor that supports PDAF and also has additional 2-megapixel sensor right below it, to artificially create a blurred background for depth-of-field effect. Comes with the 8-megapixel front camera. Storage can be expandable via microSD up to 128GB.
Honor 6X includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, and GPS. Powered by 3340mAh battery with fast charging supported. Honor 6X will be going up against some of the excellent phone in the Indian market today. Also with the recently launched Redmi Note 4. But Honor 6X could make some noise because of its dual-camera setup and price it is being offered at.
