Kingmax has introduced world’s first 64 GB micro SD card. Retail pricing of the card is not out yet. The card meets SD 3.0 specifications which will take care of any data transfer errors.
All the smartphones released so far, especially the Android ones, have a standard clause of expandable up to 32 GB or can read up to 32 GB SD cards. For phones which will be launched in the next 6 months, the clause will change. They should now read can read up to 64 GB SD Cards. Of course, it all depends on the retail availability of the 64 GB card from Kingmax but mobile manufacturers would be eager to get this going as they are desperately looking for differentiation.
