iBerry, which already has one of the cheapest tablets available in India, plans to launch India’s first Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet (Android 4.0). iBerry is a Hong Kong based tablet maker. iBerry Auxus AX02 will be a 7-inch tablet.
iBerry Auxus AX02 is a dual-core tablet with HDMI port. There will be a front-facing camera too. Other details are not yet available.
Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich is Android’s latest OS version which was supposed to carry some huge improvements. There are already quite a few older tablets which will be receiving ICS updates. Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom and Asus ePad Transformer are the tablets which will get an ICS update. There’s also a $99 tablet available from China which runs ICS.
There are also rumors that Google will launch its own tablet. Let’s see if Android 4.0 wins over Indian audience and convinces them to buy a tablet.
