Samsung Galaxy Pop is a Android CDMA phone running Froyo and costs Rs. 9849. When it comes to smartphones, CDMA users don’t have much of a choice and if it comes to Android, the choices are even limited. Motorola Glam is the only other Android CDMA phone I know of. With Samsung Galaxy Pop CDMA, the doors have opened for CDMA subscribers.
Samsung Galaxy Pop runs a 800 MHz processor, 3.14 inch screen with 320×240 pixel resolution. It supports CDMA1x and EVDO Rev A. The phone has a music player, FM radio and 3.15 megapixel camera. Galaxy Pop CDMA gives a talk time of 300 minutes and standby time of 320 hours. (Samsung)
Like all things on web, I landed up on Galaxy Pop CDMA’s landing page. The landing page was nicely done and you can have a 3 second fun on it. What has befuddled me on the landing page is the Buy link which takes you to LetsBuy.com. Did Sammy tie up with LetsBuy?
Getting back to the Pop, Galaxy Pop looks like a neat CDMA phone and worthy of a try. What do you think?
