Spice will launch its Android tablet Spice Mi 7210 in August. The tablet will be priced at Rs. 20000 and will run Android 2.3. Spice Mi 720 could be a rebranded DroidPad MI700 which is sold in Malaysia by Spice’s subsidiary CSL.
Spice Mi 720 will have a 7-inch TFT touch screen with 800x 480 resolution, will run on a 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227, 512 MB RAM, microSD card that can read up to 32 GB, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 3 megapixel camera. [TMI]
Spice Mi720’s price of Rs. 20000 is a high given its specifications. These are all speculative specs right now and the actually tablet specs might vary. Based on the information we have, this tablet is expensive. MSI has launched a 7-inch tablet with much better specs for a price of Rs. 11,999. In all likelihood, Spice Mi720 should be a sub-10K table.
