MSI to launch 2 Android tablets in India

Micro Start International (MSI) will launch two Android tablets in India which are also well priced. MSI Windpad Enjoy 10 and MSI Windpad Enjoy 7 are the two tablets to be launched. Both the tablets will be powered by Android 2.3. MSI Windpad Enjoy 10 will have a 10 inch screen and will cost Rs. 15999. MSI Windpad Enjoy 7 will have a 7-inch screen and will cost Rs. 11999.

MSI Windpad Enjoy 10

MSI Windpad Enjoy 10 will run Android 2.3, has a 10 inch touch screen. Enjoy 10 will run on a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex 8 processor (not dual core), 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB. 10 inch screen will have a resolution of 1024×768. It will have dual cameras which are both 2 megapixels.

MSI Windpad Enjoy 7

MSI Windpad Enjoy 7 has a 7 inch screen with 800×480 resolution. It shares the same specs as Enjoy 10. 1. Enjoy 7 runs on 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex 8 processor (not dual core), 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB. [TMI]

While we can wait for the actual tablets to be launched, looking at the pricing and assuming that all other factors are taken care of, these MSI tablets are very well priced. In fact there is no competitive tablet available in the Indian market which comes in this price range. We have some expensive tablets in Blackberry Plabook, HTC Flyer and iPad 2. But none are priced below 20K.
