Summify a personalized news recommendation service now has a iPhone app. In a world littered with information streams and twitter fire hoses, Summify is a zen like news recommendation service. Summify recommends 5 news stories for your consumption – nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes that’s all you might need.
Summify works well when you link your twitter, Google Reader and Facebook accounts. It checks your social graph, finds out your likes and dislikes and recommends stories accordingly. I have been using Summify’s web service for a while now and it is one email I will read in full. With the iPhone app, the email might go into my Archive folder.
Summify’s iPhone app works just like its web counterpart. Summify has designed the app carefully to suit the smaller screen. There are five big images for the top stories of the day and clicking on them will take you to the story in full. There will be 5 stories only. You can browse through historical recommendations.
Summify would become even more useful when Google+ releases its API to the developers.
If there is a personalized news recommendation app/service, Summify is what I highly recommend.
