ASUS has entered the UltraBook segment with its ZenBook UX31. Ultrabook is the new hot segment which is getting crowded by the day. If Apple is the pioneer, Acer, Lenovo and now Asus are trying to democratize a bit.

The key USP of Ultrabook : Make the laptop remarkably thin, without losing the computing power.

If netbooks concentrated on downgrading an existing laptop, UltraBooks concentrate on making the laptops a lot thinner and make it a whole lot powerful. Think of UltraBooks as Notebooks on healthy steroids.
