Oh! you should love Seth Godin by now. If you aren’t already loving him then I recommend reading his book Linchpin. All the book talks about is how to do your job with passion and how you can create art, in almost every field. Art isn’t limited to painting or writing. There’s art everywhere. You just have to find it.

Shoe making is typically resigned to the sweatshops of China. There isn’t much of art involved in shoe making. Not even if the shoe is from Nike. Well that is about to change now. Take a look at this shoe :

These are designed by Gabriel Dishaw, who is passionate about shoes. He has collected more than 200 pairs of shoes and designed more than 50 sculptures. This masterpiece you are seeing above is call Air Max 2011 and is built from computer parts.

Dishaw, of Indianapolis, created the above sneakers out of "a motherboard, an old typewriter case, a USB port, chipsets, power connectors and even an oxygen mask from a 747 airplane." [gearlog]
