The transmogrification of a tablet [infographic]

Tablets! Oh! boy don’t we love them by now. Looks like the world just woke up to the tablet usefulness. And they existed for 24 years now. Not the way we know them today, but something similar in functionality. I almost want to pass it on to the infographic without discussing about Apple’s genius and the iPad which is the most defining moment in the transmogrification of the tablet. I couldn’t pass. iPad is a defining moment and probably will be seen as instrumental in bringing a tectonic shift to personal computing.

If you look at all the tablets which came before iPad, they struggled too hard to put things on it. Apple tried to take things away from it. This is where simplicity and perfection come in.
