How many of you check the atmospheric pressure on a daily basis? If you have put off that exercise because of not having a handy barometer, then Motorola’s Xoom will come in handy. Honeycomb (Android 2.3) has barometer support and Motorola took advantage of it. Accelerometer, magnetometer and yeah, we will throw in a barometer too.
Barometer is among the sensors section of the Motorola Xoom’s features. Xoom becomes the first tablet to come with a barometer. Notion Ink has unveiled that its secret feature as radio, Motorola did not go to the length of making this a secret feature. It’s just out there waiting for people to find out.
What’s next for the tablet world? A thermometer?
