Kinect hack brings Gmail motion to reality!

Google tricked the world when it released Gmail motion as their April fools joke. In fact GMail started as a April fool joke. With technology nothing ever will be a joke. Gmail motion which is a gesture based email isn’t all that surreal. FAAST crew has used Microsoft Kinect sensor and a middleware library to make this possible. You can open a mail with a open gesture, reply back with your thumb pointing backwards and send an email by licking the stamp and thumping on your thigh. No kidding. You no longer have to use ‘outdated’ technologies like keyboard and mouse.

We know this is bound to happen, but this fast? Incredible.
