HTC Flyer, HTC’s modest attempt at the tablet market might come to India in May. The tablet is tentatively priced at Rs. 35000. HTC Flyer has a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with 1.5 GHz processor and HTC Sense UI optimized for tablets which runs over Gingerbread. It will be a 3G tablet with a memory of 32 GB.
But the problem is….
The problem which every tablet face is this : How are they going to compete with iPad 2. Now that iPad 2 will be available in India at a price of Rs. 27900, will someone pay Rs. 35000 for a HTC tablet. Hardware specs doesn’t matter as much especially when it comes to tablets. It is all them apps which will rule the roost and iPad got plenty of them. How exactly are Android tablets trying to deal with that? And what’s with those steep prices? Think my friends, just think. Or let me know why you do, what you do and I will just make no noise.
