iPhone 4S is priced ridiculously high in India. That’s as true as sun rises in the east. When I have written about its pricing and why you shouldn’t expect any different behavior from Apple, it was met with sharp criticsim. Most of which is unwarranted. Here’s what I meant when I said India doesn’t get Apple and Apple doesn’t get India.
Apple doesn’t care much about India. It never did. It is not even a blip on its radar. It might come to India when it is done with China. And India shouldn’t give a hoot to Apple’s pricing either. If you want an iPhone go buy. No need to lose sleep over its pricing.
Since Apple doesn’t get India and vice versa, let’s try this : How much would you pay for the iPhone ? For coming up with the price what you need to also consider is it is a great product made by a company which is paranoid about making great products. That doesn’t mean that you should pay whatever that company asks for.
At the end of the day, you will pay for what you think the product is worth for you. So how much do you really want to pay for iPhone 4S.
Any price less than Rs.20000 will be taken in good humor.
