LG Optimus Black, the phone which got everybody’s attention for being the slimmest phone with 9.2 mm thickness is priced at Rs. 19990 and is available in India from Flipkart. At Rs. 19990, it gives great competition to Samsung Nexus S and iPhone 3G S (which got a price cut). Looks like LG is trying to match Samsung blow by blow. Optimus Black is powered by 1 GHz TI OMAP processor, 512 MB RAM and 2 GB internal storage. The memory can be expanded to 32 GB through a microSD card. Optimus Black will run Android 2.2 out of the box and can be upgraded to 2.3.
LG Optimus Black has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash and 2 megapixel front-facing camera to facilitate face to face video chat. It can record high definition videos. LG Optimus Black comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi hotspot options.
