Droid Razr – The best smartphone on the planet

Motorola made its first product launch after it was acquired by Google. In the event, Motorola has unveiled Droid Razr, its best smartphone and probably the best smartphone on the planet. Droid Razr is impossibly thin with a thickness of just 7.1 mm.

Droid Razr combines two popular brands. Droid the first set of popular Android phones and Razr the most popular phone brand ever. Does the combination of two stellar brands guarantee a stellar performance? Well all fingers point to it.

Droid Razr will be called as Motorola Razr everywhere in the world. This is probably the most important move by Motorola.

Droid Razr has a strong body powered by laser-cut Kevlan fiber and Gorilla glass on the exterior. From the inside, Razr runs on a dual core 1.2 GHz process, 1 GB RAM and sports a 8 MP rear camera.

Droid Razr has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD screen. It can record 1080p videos can download HD movies from Netflix. Razr also has a splash technology which would keep the phone and the interiors safe from any water accidents.

My favorite feature on Droid Razr is its battery life. Razr comes with a 1800 mAh battery which as per Motorola will get you through the day. It provides 12.5 hours of talk time on 3G and 8 hours of video playback. All the goodness weighs just 127 gms.

Droid Razr is not just hardware greatness. There is some cool integration with other products as well as some good software upgrades like Webtop, Smart Actions, MotoCast and Business readiness.
