Android’s 10 Billion Downloads : A deeper look [infographic]

Android market has crossed 10 billion downloads and is now clocking 1 billion app downloads per month. Android 10 billion app journey is neatly documented in the infographic released by Google. Now it has gone further and gave us a little more insight into where these 10 billion downloads came from.

And the 10 billionth app download is : PhotoBucket Mobile.

Here are the 3 things which caught my attention :

1. The Top 3 app crazed nations are from Asia : South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. 4 of the top 5 App crazed nations are from Asia with United States at number#4 being the only non-Asian country.
2. Games and Entertainment are the top two download categories.
3. 20 billion keystrokes were saved from typing using SwiftKey X
