Now this is strange bit of conclusion to draw from Nielsen’s data. Men are increasingly adopting to tablets which is no surprise, but women are increasingly moving towards eReaders. Women now make up 61% of the eReader users which is up from 46% in Q3 2010. 57% of tablet users are Men.
It’s even-stevens for smartphones.
I thought tablets (read iPad) are more fun cool looking devices and would have attracted more women users.
What could be the reason for this liking for eReader with women?
