Lenovo P2 is the smartphone that the company will be launching in India soon for the year 2017. Lenovo P series has always been battery focused and was first showcased at IFA 2016. It has taken the twitter platform to tease the P2 launch, highlight of the phone is its 5100mAh battery. “How often do you your way because of low phone battery? Travel fearlessly with the longest lasting battery #LenovoP2 #Powerhouse coming soon,” the company posted on Twitter.
The smartphone is already available in many regions including China, Priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 24,500), and we can expect the smartphone to be significantly cheaper in India depending on the variant launching.
Lenovo P2 is a dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display and a fingerprint scanner on the front. It is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor, coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage which can be expandable via microSD card. The smartphone bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and FM radio. It should be available in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey color variants. It measures in at 153x76x8.2mm.
