Xage touchscreen phone comes with a TV and a answering machine

Xage has released a niche mobile phone – Xage MT 711. This phone comes with 3.2 inch touch screen, 3D menu display, 3.2 megapixel camera, analog TV and an answering machine. There are whole lot of 3’s in the specifications but the all ‘important’ 3 is missing.

Xage MT 711 doesn’t come with 3G. But who cares? It has an answering machine which can answer calls and take messages for you. With all the personal loans and credit cards floating around, an answering machine is what I want. Yes, there are voice mail features from service providers but having it on the phone is so cool. No not billion dollar cool, just cool.

Xage MT711’s 3.2 megapixel camera can record videos. It has a high definition MP4 movie player and an FM radio for all your entertainment needs. If you want to become a citizen journalist or just record a phone conversation slyly, there is a voice recorder too. Bluetooth and GPRS will take care of the connectivity details.

As for the analog TV, it’s not clear what channels are available and how good the video quality and transfer rate will be. Xage MT 711 phone costs Rs. 5799 and seems to be a value for money phone.
