MVL R2 – A dual SIM phone with a twist!

There is no dearth of dual SIM phones in the market. But this phone from MVL mobiles comes with couple of twists. MVL R2 has long battery life, dual SIM, expandable memory to 8GB, VGA camera, audio and video functions, Hindi keypad, 1.8 inch color display and FM radio. MVL R2 costs Rs. 1999 and is available in green and blue colors.

The twist

MVL R2 has some dual SIM features which will make the phone unique :

1. Smart call divert : Users can talk on one SIM, and the calls to the second SIM can be automatically diverted to the first SIM. I fail to get a use case for this but I am sure there will be many uses.
2. Smart call back : If one SIM is in roaming and other SIM one is on home network, and the user gets a call on roaming SIM, this facility initiates a call back from home network SIM. You don’t have to tell the person to call on a different number. The phone intelligently takes care of it. Useful feature.
3. Sniffer program : Can track a mobile phone in case of theft and loss. This is available with quite a few phones.
