Micromax Android A60 with a price tag of Rs.6999 is the cheapest Android phone available in India. Few have launched with price cuts but nothing was launched this cheap. A60’s closest rival is Acer beTouch which was offered in the same price range.
How should the advertisement look like for a touch screen Android phone which costs 7K? I wouldn’t say cheap but it should be close to reality and should have kept its target audience in mind. The ad is nothing but cheap and oozes with richness, throughout.
I can’t really make out the intention of the advertisement but let me give it a try.
Version 1 : This kid who got money to spend, goes shopping. Buys expensive shoes, suit and an skimps of the phone. With the amount of money he spent, he would have gotten a decent phone. More like a Dell Streak or a iPhone 4G. Even a Galaxy Tab looks cooler, though not smaller.
Version 2 : This kid who got money to spend, goes shopping. Buys expensive shoes, suit and buys a phone which looks expensive but actually isn’t. That is Micromax Android A60. I like to think that this version 2 will fly but it doesn’t. Micromax Bling looks more expensive than Android A60. Seriously.
Is there a version 3?
