India is a virgin market for tablets. An estimated 55 million tablets will be sold in 2011 globally of which India’s sales will be 0.6 million to 1 million. But this figure will most likely improve to 2.5 million units by March 2013. That’s an impressive number and parts of it will be associated to the fact that many low-cost tablets will flood Indian markets in the next two years. Yet another contribution to the tablet sales is the enterprise buying.
