Notion Ink has released its first video as promised. The video contains the features of the Adam’s OS called Eden. Eden is built on Android 2.2 and have some features of Android 2.3. Eden has a launcher which is tucked away to the left of the screen, can be activated with just at tap.
A tap on the launcher would bring in an array of panels. Any number of panels can be opened, arranged and rearranged through drag and drop. Panels can be scrolled through regular touch gestures. Multiple panels are the multi-tasking feature of Eden. Unlike other popular multi-taskers, Panels in Eden do not consume any cycles until they are touched on. A panel is a feature limited version of the app in full screen mode.
Eden’s UI looks clean and clutter free, touch screen is very smooth and responsive, scrolling is a breeze. Overall, Adam has a nice feel to it, just in the video.
