HTC launching two tablets on September 19?

September 19 may be probably the day, when HTC is planning to hold a press event regarding the announcement of two tablets.

After the big announcement from Sony, Samsung, Microsoft, Nokia and other companies, people are looking upto HTC for some big announcement at this event. According to the news on CNET, this Smartphone maker is expected to announce two new tablets at the event that is to be held in New York.

Previously, there had been talk that HTC is planning to introduce a wide range of tablets, but, there are no proofs of that statement. Moreover, things are looking differently this time and some details about these gadgets were leaked, which shows that that this statement to be true.

According to the leaked details, one of the tablet is expected to be a successor of HTC Flyer. It would feature a display of 7 inches and runs on Android Jelly Bean. Moreover, this tablet will have a digital pen that can be used as a scribe.

The additional specifications of this tablet include – S4 snapdragon processor, rear camera of 3MP, front camera of 1MP and the display that gives a high quality images with a resolution of 1280 X 768.

This 7-inch tablet is expected to compete against Kindle Fire HD and Google Nexus 7.

The second tablet, which is rumored to be announced on the same date is expected to come in 10 inches and is powered by Tegra 3 and uses 1 GB of RAM. According to the leaked images, it will sport an unusual design and is expected to compete the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Apple’s iPad.

It is also expected that HTC will announce its Windows 8 based Smartphone in the same event.
