That did not take much time, did it?
India based ecommerce site Grabmore has gone ahead and listed Kindle Fire HD & Kindle Paperwhite for Pre-orders on their site. Both the devices are available for pre-orders currently and will potentially reach your doorstep late September or early October.
Kindle Paperwhite (with Special Offers)
The latest generation e-reader, Kindle Paperwhite has been listed by Grabmore.in for Rs. 9299/- which is decent price given that Amazon itself is selling it for USD 119, which given the high Rupee-USD conversion rate comes close to Rs. 6,600/-. Add to that shipping charges and import duties to India and it works out to same price.
Grabmore’s 9299/- price is inclusive of shipping, taxes as well the duties. And yes, you have an option for Cash on Delivery, so you can rest easy about your package.

If you are not aware, 3G on Kindle is completely free and does not cost you anything. Amazon has tied with the telecom providers who offer 3G services on Kindle.
Kindle Fire HD (16 GB version)
Similar to Kindle Paperwhite, Grabmore is offering the latest version of Amazon Tablet for preorder – The Kindle Fire HD (16GB version) for Rs. 15,199. Given the specs and content that Amazon is offering on this latest tablet, it surely will appeal to Indian consumers.

However, Kindle Fire HD will reach slightly later than Paperwhite – According to the listing, it should reach you between 6th to 12th October!
