HTC Re action camera
Launched in late 2014, HTC Re still remains an excellent, yet affordable action and sports camera. For adventure and sport enthusiasts, this is a fantastic device and a great alternative to GoPro and Garmin devices. There are currently no actions cameras at this price, not even local ones listed online.
As far as video and photo quality goes, the device performs good with no blurs under decent conditions. However in dark, the camera quality can be seen to deteriorate. In Spite of that, the 16 megapixels CMOS sensor come in handy in daylight when the videos can be seen to be crisp and of good quality. As with any action cam, it is dust and water-resistant to keep away from background disturbances.
The camera comes with Bluetooth support and built in WiFi for seamless connectivity. There are also provisions for tripod mounting and micro-USB transfer. Battery life is a major negative, which lasts only about 1.5 hours on a single charge. This is not really expected from a company like HTC, but at least there is no compromise on quality.
