10 Gadgets to look forward to in 2013

This year too, there will be a lot of tech companies wanting to maximize on new ideas and new innovations and create awesome gadgets. Whether they will work or not depends on consumer reception and technological value.

In this list, we give you 10 such gadgets that we look forward to be launched in 2013. Keep your eyes open for these.

1. iPad Mini with Retina Display

When Apple introduced the iPad Mini gadget, the only missing feature was the lack of retina display. This year Apple will most probably re-release the iPad Mini with retina display. Rumors are already rife about its specifications and price.

2. Smartphone from Microsoft

Microsoft has been pondering over the idea of introducing their brand of Smartphone in the market. If they do, the competition is all set to rile up.

3. Bendable Smartphones

The introduction of touch screen was a giant leap in technological innovation. It is rumored that some Smartphone developers are experimenting with a bendable technology that will allow users to flex and bend Smartphone screens without losing its quality.

4. Google Glass Project

Google Glasses might go on sale by the end of 2013. It has been one of the most talked about Google projects in the last couple of months. The glasses are, again, a giant leap in technological innovation. Currently, it is in development stage.

5. iPad5

The fifth generation of Apple’s iPad is one of the most anticipated products this year. The iPad5 will be thinner, lighter and resemble the iPad mini in design. Compared to iPad4, this will be just about 17mm in width, 2mm thinner and 4mm lesser in height.

6. LG Google TV

Google TV on its own has not been that successful but now Google has partnered with LG and will come out with LG Google TV by the end of this year. This partnership could solidify their stand and hedge Apple on their space exploration ventures in the next couple of years.

7. Xbox 720

This is one solid product from Microsoft’s arsenal. After the last Xbox console released about 7 years back, gamers and entertainment seekers are expecting to see something more powerful than the last one. It’s definitely time for reinventing this product.

8. Amazon Kindle Phone

After the success of Kindle Fire HD, Amazon is coming out with their Kindle Phone that promises to have better features, an extensively modified Android OS version and an affordable tag. This is a product to look out for.

9. iPhone5S

Haters’ going to hate but iPhone is slated to come out with their 5S version in the later part of the year. While there are no leaks around bordering on its features and specifications, it’s sure to set the market on fire!

10. Samsung Galaxy S IV

Apropos to the “Bendable Phones” listing, it is rumored that Samsung is going to utilize this technology and launch Galaxy S IV with a flexible screen. Sounds interesting? We have no other option but to wait and see!
