Avendus has released a simple iPhone and iPad app for disseminating its market research documents. The research documents are in pdf format and the app provides a list of these documents. The documents can be browsed in chronological order, or by industry name or by company name. The report will be displayed in a single page and there is an option to Email the report.
Avendus market research app is a no-nonsense, simple aggregator app for people interested in capital market research. Avendus app is available for both iPad and iPhone. The reports are pdf reports and the iPhone app doesn’t render the reports to suit the screen size. One should zoom and pinch to get the report positioned for reading comfortably. Avendus app is apt for iPad.
There is no facility to avail push notifications (I couldn’t find it) when a new report is published. This is a annoying because you can’t really go to the app every day or every few hours to find that there is no new content. Avendus app doesn’t provide a search functionality.
