BeeTel, the telecom product arm of Bharti Airtel wants to cash in on the Android tablet craze. It has revealed its plans to launching and tablet with 7-inch screen and will be powered by Android 2.2 operating system. The price and other details are not revealed.
BeeTel has entered the mobile phone segment recently and as per Hindu’s report, it is already selling 1.5 lakh mobiles a month. Very impressive figures. But I must say, selling tablets isn’t exactly the same thing as selling mobiles. Also on the Android tablets, we are at Android version 3.1 and higher. Can someone pass on this message to BeeTel please?
