Maxx Mobiles is competing with the innovative mobile launches of Micromax. It is launching two new mobile phones which feature noise cancelling technology. These two phones which are priced in the Rs. 3000 to Rs. 4000 range use, what Maxx calls, a SAM technology to keep ambient noise in check and deliver clear voice to the callers. The phone series is appropriately named as “Khamoshhhh”.
Noise cancelling technology has existed for a while now. Noise cancelling headphones use Active noise cancellation (ANC) to keep the noise in check. This so far has been an expensive affair.
If the phones from Maxx work as promised, I see a great potential for these devices. A much needed phone and technology for Indian streets.
Maxx will release two phones : one will be a candy bar design and the other phone will be a QWERTY phone. QWERTY phone will have 2.4 inch screen and 3 megapixel camera. Bar phone will have 2 megapixel camera. Maxx will launch these phones on Wednesday as per TheMobileIndian and the specs and other details will follow.
