Panasonic India has announced Panasonic P55 Android phone featuring a large 5.5” IPS HD display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor at an asking price of Rs. 10,290.
The phone would be available at the stores in the country by the end of this week. The phone will run on Android KitKat v4.4.2 OS and also has an 8MP AF camera with an LED flash in tow. As you can see in the press image, a front camera is also on-board for taking care of your selfie and video chatting needs. The P55 will be powered up a 2500 mAh battery.
The rest of its specifications are not made public at the moment, but we can safely suspect it to have 1 GB RAM, 4GB ROM, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+, GPS, and dual SIM connectivity options.
The phone would be available in 2 colour options- White and Blue.
Panasonic P55 Features
- Tap Play– Allows you to double tap for waking up the device from the sleep mode and vice-versa.
- Gesture Play– Allows the user to launch apps from home screen just by making a gesture.
- Pop-i Player– It is similar to what you are used to seeing in most of the Samsung and LG flagship phones. Pop-i player allows you to pop-out the video player so that you can watch the video even while texting, browsing, emailing, and pretty much everything.
- Music Cafe’– This is just a regular music player but with a single-handed operation mode built-in.
Would you seriously consider buying the Panasonic P55, when you can buy a phone (Xiaomi Redmi 1s) with similar features and still save Rs. 4,291? Well, the choice is yours but I would love to hear your reasons and explanation about this.
