Samsung to launch a dual-core 2GHz smartphone. My PC is ashamed!

Samsung has announced that it is working on a 2 GHz dual core smartphone and is likely to launch it next year. After the first dual core phone is launched the war for the greatest speed is only expected. The fastest smartphone available on the market is a 1.2 GHz dual core phone.

I have quickly checked the speed on my PC and here’s what I found.

I am running a 2.79 GHz and this new phone will have a 2 GHz processing speed. Though this is not an apples to apples comparison, there is a lot going on in the mobile space and not much in the PC market. This might have sounded outrageous few years ago. Now this is the reality.
