Redd Mobility to launch a 3G dual SIM Android phone!

Redd Mobile which is a relatively new entrant in Indian mobility space has been making feauture phones so far. Now it has thrown its hat to the Android and touch screen market. Along with other phones and tablets, Redd Mobility will be launching a Android 2.3 powered smartphone with dual SIM capabilities. This would be the second such phone after Spice has launched it. Redd happens to be the official mobile partner for Rajasthan Royals.

The appetite for dual SIM phones is huge and the same is dripping onto the Android smartphone segment. There is scope for phones which can hold both a 3G SIM and 2G sim. Customers are keen to avail any offers the 20 odd mobile operators have to provide. 3G is still in its infancy and there is no real war going on. With a dual SIM facility, whenever the mobile operators decide to get low, customers can use the phones to their advantage.

I can already see Micromax biting their nails eagerly waiting for the next shipment of dual SIM Android phones from China.
