Nokia has launched its business-phone looking music phone X2-01, here in India. The retail price for Nokia X2-01 is Rs. 4459. It is available on Flipkart for Rs. 3845. The main attraction of the phone is its QWERTY keyboard. Other attractions include Hi-Fidelity Speakers For Enhanced Acoustic Performance and live rolling updates from your Facebook and Twitter accounts on to your home screen. This is strictly a messaging/social networking/music phone. Probably targeted at youth, true to its X series naming convention.
Specifications
Nokia X2-01 has a 2.4 inch screen with a resolution of 320×240. It has a VGA camera which we thought was already phased out. Nokia decided to bring the VGA camera back. X2-01 supports all popular audio and video formats. It has FM Radio, Bluetooth and micro USB. An internal memory of 128 MB is provided and can be expanded up to 8GB.
Nokia X2-01 provides a talk time of 4 hours 30 minutes and a standby time of 20 days. It doesn’t have 3G or WiFi.

You might have already noticed the naming convention of the X series phone. This phone is a Nokia X2-01 and a Nokia X2 phone already exists. Nokia X2 is a bar phone which has a 5 megapixel camera sans QWERTY keyboard. A much better phone than X2-01 and costs Rs. 5489.
Nokia X2-01 comes in five colors – Red, Deep grey, Silver, Lilac and Azure. X2-01 happens to be Nokia’s cheapest QWERTY phone. If you are a heavy texter or social networker then X2-01 fits the bill.
