Do you know that meeting rooms in America can be bugged with a special device which gathers air waves in the room and records the conversations? This is some kind of stealth technology which no one has heard of. Especially folks in India. While our search troops are still looking for this magical device, we found out that something magical is happening in the mobile phones we use on daily basis.
After prolonged use of a mobile phone, since the SIM on the mobile phone is in constant touch with the phone’s battery, the data in the SIM, unknowing to the user, is copied to the battery. This is proved to be extremely dangerous when you are selling your mobile phone. The best way to dispose an old mobile phone is to use a sledgehammer and break the phone into pieces.
Now this is epiphany. At least to me. I got one question though, if data is being copied to the battery, wouldn’t it make sense to just the take the battery out and still sell the phone? May be the battery was in touch with the touch panel and the data is copied there too. Or may be the data is copied on to the keypad, since that’s the origin of the data to start with.
