G’Five has launched two touch screen phones, one of which takes a radical approach with its form factor. G’Five G303 is a touch and type phone with the number keys placed vertically like tiles one above the other at the right edge of the phone. G’Five G616 is your traditional QWERTY appended with a 2.8-inch touch screen with IPS display.
G’Five G303
G’Five G303 comes with a dual camera – a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash light at the back and a digital camera in the front. G303 comes with a 2.8 inch resistive touch screen, 8 GB memory, Bluetooth with A2DP, and Analog TV support. G303 comes with 850 mAh battery with provision to carry an addition 750 mAh battery. Nice touch. G303 is a dual SIM phone, of course.
G’Five G303 is priced at Rs. 3899
If there’s a phone I want to buy in the market for just the form factor, then this is it. I like how the number keys arranged vertically. Though the arrangement is less practical and almost uninviting for the texters, it still is irresistible.
G’Five G616
G’Five G616 comes with a 2.8 inch IPS display, digital camera, wireless FM, music player, video player , LED Torch, Analog TV and Bluetooth with A2DP. G616 is a Triple SIM phone (all GSM, I assume). There’s full QWERTY keyboard on G’Five G616.
G616 can read up to 32 GB memory card and comes with a free 2GB memory card as a part of the package.
G’Five G616 is priced at Rs. 3049.
G303 is priced higher than G616 because of the extra camera in the front and the extra battery capability in the back.
