8GB iPhone 4 lands in Brazil, doesn’t come cheap though

Remember the 8GB iPhone 4 which we talked about few days back? Now it has landed in Brazil. Contrary to the popular speculation, this iPhone isn’t cheap. In fact it’s the anti-thesis of  cheap. It costs $970 without a data plan. This could be a ripping the early adopters price and we might have to wait for an official launch.

iPhone 4S which has seen a lot of rage  is priced lower in India than Brazil’s 8GB iPhone 4. Apple needs a cheaper iPhone to keep the Android deluge in check. There’s no question about that. An 8GB iPhone 4 is Apple’s best bet and if it prices anything above Rs.21000 ($400) would be waste of Apple’s time.
