HTC Desire HD is available in India from Flipkart for a price of Rs. 27499. HTC Desire HD is an improved version of its predecessor HTC Desire. Desire HD runs Android’s latest operating system 2.2 (Froyo) and comes with an impressive 4. 3 inch super LCD WVGA capacitive touch screen. This is one of the wider touch screen phones available in the market competing with 5-inch screen of Dell Streak and 4-inch screens of Sony Xperia X10, Samsung Galaxy S I9000 and HTC HD7 (windows phone)

Processor, RAM and memory

Desire HD is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 processor and 768 MB RAM. It comes with an internal memory of 1.5 GB and can be expanded to 32GB through a micro SD slot. HTC Desire HD is fastest smartphone in the Indian market. There are phones with 1GHz processors but none of them have a 768 MB RAM. Desire HD’s closest competitor is Dell Streak.

Desire HD would beat both HTC HD7 and Dell Streak in the price section.
