Is there anything Siri can’t do? Apparently there’s nothing. This might sound like a parody with special effects but there’s some scary truth hidden inside. Siri might know too much about you and before you know, it (or should I say ‘she’) might be offended. This amazing video with neat special effects sends a chilling message. Watch :
The idea however isn’t new nor is it far-fetched. There were movies based on this simple idea. What happens when computer has its own heart?
In the movie I Robot, the robot Sonny was developed to have feelings. This was only a cover up to reveal a bigger secret called VIKI which is the central computer all set to take-over humanity.
The same theme has repeated in the movie Eagle Eye. A central computer, which has artificial intelligence built into it was pissed off because its judgment was rejected. It later controls anything that’s even remotely connected to do some nasty things which will scare the bejesus out of you.
Was the Psycho Siri any different? Not really. Is it plausible? We will soon know.
