Looks like the ‘best-of-both-worlds’ bug has hit Nokia too. Nokia E6, Nokia’s latest business phone offering is a touch screen + QWERTY bar phone. HTC, Motorola, Samsung and RIM have entered this segment quite earlier. With Nokia’s entry we have an Android alternatives to Android and Blackberry OS. Nokia E6 runs Symbian Anna operating system.
Nokia E6 has a 2.46 inch LCD capacitive display screen with 640×480 pixel resolution. Just like Nokia X7, E6’s touch screen glass is made of Corning Gorilla Glass for endurance and durability. E6 is powered 1500mAH battery which provides a 7.5 hours of talk time and a month of standby time over 3G network.
Nokia E6 just like X7 is powered with a dual-LED flash 8 megapixel full focus camera with 2x digital zoom. It offers HD recording with 720p. Nokia’s new Ovi maps are on-board for E6 along with other apps like QuickOffice, World Traveler, JoikuSpot Premium and F-Secure Mobile Security.
The price of Nokia E6 is 340 euros which translates to Rs. 22000.
From the pictures of E6, it looks like a typical business phone like its predecessors launched by Nokia. The biggest difference is the touch screen which is provided along with the 4-row full QWERY keypad.
