Update : Nokia N9 is indeed a smartphone with 3.9 inch AMOLED display, and as per Nokia this is world’s first pure touch smartphone – no buttons. N0kia N9 is designed not just for calls for everything that a smartphone does. For N9, all it takes is a swipe. Take that Steve Jobs. Your iPhone still has buttons, Nokia doesn’t have any. How’s that for simplicity. Not a great Nokia fan but Nokia N9 looks awesome. Get a low down from Nokia’s Swipe.
Nokia is trying to mimic Apple to keep its latest product under the wraps. Nokia N9 or Lankku remains elusive though there are multiple leaks emerging in the virtual space. In all likelihood Nokia N9 would be a smartphone with qHD 960×540 screen resolution, 8 megapixel camera running Meego. Not Mango but Meego No Microsoft love yet. The phone will be shipping in Q3.
Nokia N9 runs Meego, not Mango.
From the shots emerging, N9 looks just like N8. At least to my eyes. The story is still developing and take this with a pinch of salt or pepper – whatever your choice is.
Nokia N9 is also dubbed as Lankku. It was also rumored a while back that Nokia N9, the Meego project is shelved and Nokia is all set to work on a tablet. Well, Elop is keeping everyone guessing. Hope it turns out to be guessing good, but not guessing awkward.
