Samsung Galaxy S III mini made a quite good amount of buzz since it appeared on the cards. The original Samsung Galaxy SIII is a power packed device with a large screen providing ample real estate for media buffs.
However, every consumer lured with the impressive spec sheet may not be willing to handle such a big device. Samsung Galaxy S III mini was expected to be a perfect solution for such people. On the other hand it was also a good opportunity for Samsung to encash the hype created by Galaxy SIII from the left out niche.
Samsung, yesterday, unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S III mini in Frankfurt, Germany.
Unfortunately, the specifications didn’t turn out to be as impressive as its elder sibling. No 4G, No Quad core, No High res and the list goes on. I would rather like to call it an upgraded version of earlier launched Samsung Galaxy S Duos.

The most impressive stuffs here are the Jelly Bean and the nature inspired UI, but calling it a miniature version of Galaxy SIII is unfair.
Also, it’s definitely not a reply to Apple iPhone 5, it can’t be. The 480 X 800 px resolution is too low to be compared against the Retina display.
There was no word on pricing and availability, but we assume it to hit the Indian market by end of November.
Regarding the price in India, no website has listed it yet, but we guess it would be in INR 25k range!
