Olive Telecom to launch a Android phone?

Olive smartphone is impending. Olive Telecom which brought India’s first 3.5G Tablet PC might be launching a smartphone which would rival iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy series. This is a tip-off from a credible source.

The features would be comparable to the smartphones available in the market. There are some features up the sleeve of Olive’s smartphone which would give it a distinctive advantage.  Olive already has a Android tablet.  This would be a range of Android phones. Official launch date is not yet known.

Olive has an impressive portfolio going on for it. When the tablet is yet to capture the craze of the world, Olive launched a 3G tablet in India. The specs of it are on par with Samsung Galaxy Tab. Olive has also bundled netbook with Tata internet connection. Olive FvrOn is  yet another innovative phone which can run on a AAA in addition to the regular battery.  Though Olive is a little late to the smartphone party, I expect the phone to do something different. Micromax has the leg up for the cheapest Android phone, Spice has the leg up for a Dual SIM 3G phone. How would Olive differentiate?
