We have seen how a innovation by iBall has led to a mobile phone for Senior citizens. iBall Aasaan makes it easy for older people to find the buttons and ring in emergency with just a jab on a button. We got mobiles for elders, mobiles for the young and mobiles for the energetic, what about kids? Do kids really need mobile? That would be the immediate question that comes to anyone’s mind. While whether kids need a mobile or needs a debate and a separate forum, someone already thinks that kids need a mobile. And a special one at that. C2K the company which launched a cheapest tablet, has launched a kids mobile with security features.
The mobile is targeted at kids in the age of 3-12 years. The security feature on the mobile lets the parents know the whereabouts of the kid. How exactly is something which we don’t know. Probably something like what Samsung is using to avoid porn. In addition to the security feature, the phone has 4 easy buttons which can be used to quickly call a number. Neat.
I always wanted to put on a RFID tag on my four year old. To know his whereabouts at all times, you know that kind the government folks put on Will Smith in “Enemy of the state”. Now this cellphone from C2K could ease my way through it. Equipping a kid with a mobile phone which can be monitored remotely is a cool thing to have. I hope this phone comes with a tracker for all the calls the kid is likely to make.
The phone sure looks like something the kids would love to have it.
