Nokia has announced the rolling out of the Nokia Belle Refresh update for Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia X7 and Nokia Oro phones on 27 August, 2012. The Nokia Belle Refresh update comes months after Nokia announced Belle update to its older devices based on Symbian 3.
Nokia posted on their support forums that they have just started rolling out the update called Nokia Belle Refresh for Symbian^3 devices with the version number 111.040.1511.
Nokia E6 will have different version number 111.140.0058 and is already made available for the Nokia N8 in India. The Nokia N8 customers in India are the first to get this update, while other devices would get it soon.
The update for Nokia N8 is available over-the-air. One can also get the updates through Nokia Suite and Nokia Software Updater in a size of 11MB. After getting the update on Nokia N8, the device automatically updates Nokia Social and Widget from the software update.
This new update brings lots of features and tweaks. Moreover, users can find some visual and performance improvements after this update.
The update version number 111.040.1511 is expected to include advanced features to the Nokia Symbian Smartphones which are as below –

The company is planning to release the updates in phases, starting with basic software variants like – vanilla version, that will be followed by country or carrier based customizations.
As like most of the updates, this update too will be rolled out with the carrier-free devices getting a first try. Devices with carrier versions will have to wait a few weeks until the update gets approved by the operator.
One must notice that, after updating their Symbian devices, some applications may not work due to compatibility issues. In such case, users can contact the app developer of that particular app to ask about compatibility.
Users can also contact their local Nokia Care support to solve this issue.
Nokia is also expected to release a new Belle FP2 update for Nokia 808 PureView and is stated to arrive by the end of the year.
Some other Symbian Smartphone also might get this update. But, we have to wait till Nokia officially confirms the information.
