Booting and rooting mobile devices is so much fun. For me it’s a fun to look at and not be part of it. Developers have been playing with Nexus S for quite a while now. They got Meego installed on it and now Ubuntu.
In two separate hacks, XDA developer forum members have installed Ubuntu and Meego. Many of the features aren’t working and the developers have to get around this to to make it work.
While many Android phones are still waiting for their Honeycomb upgrade, iPhone 3G has got its Honeycomb upgrade. If they got everything working, then it would be best of both worlds – Google software on Apple hardware.

Uuh, sorry but the iPhone 3G hardware has nothing to offer vs current Android handsets. Any normal Galaxy S, Nexus S or recent HTC device will easily beat it.
