Microsoft is getting serious with its mobile platform. While the Windows Mobile (Mango) enabled phone is only a few weeks away, Microsoft seems to be spending some time and money on viral marketing. Not a bad idea. Because, sometimes a simple infographic would do in place of an expensive in-your-face advertising.
Window’s phone blog has published a cute infographic showing the difference between how it used to be in 1991 vs what it is like in 2011 with a Smart Phone (Windows enabled, of course). XBox Live is the only Microsoft service mentioned in the infographic. The rest of the services like facebook, twitter, texting and emails are present in almost all smartphone platforms. May be that was deliberate.
The future is better with Smart Phone (Infographic) :

I think smart phones are good for smart people not people for average consumer like me. I was buying the great samsung innov8, but went back to my old nokia 2730 since its just too much, to make a phone call is hard, though the camera and the low radiation is a real turn on.
If someone starts with a smartphone, he definitely needs a teacher to figure out all the function. I think it is a great for business men, once they figure out how it works, they can save themselves from radiation as at least my samsung innov 8 has a very low radiation level.
