LG has released a phone in the hottest price segment from its Optimus line. LG Optimus L3 will be available from Flipkart for Rs. 7899. The phone will be delivered in 4-6 business days as per the site. Like all new smartphones LG Optimus L3 is powered by Android.
LG Optimus L3 is powered by Android 2.3, sports a 800 MHz processor, 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen , 3 MP camera, WiFi, 3G and has a FM Radio. L3 is powered by 1500 mAh battery which provides a talk time of 15 hours on 2G and 8 hours on 3G. Standby times are 673 hours on 2G and 640 hours on 3G.
LG Optimus L3 seems to be a good phone for the price it comes with. It doesn’t really stand out if that’s the reason you want to buy this phone. From the picture, the phone is designed to be a slate with rough edges, the kind of shape we saw on Spice Mi410. This industrial design poses an unique problem to hold. Things might be different with the actual phone but that’s something you might want to consider.
In a Samsung world, everybody seems to be lost. LG is no different. I don’t think that would change a bit with L3. But L3 seems to be a nice try.
The price category (5K-10K) seems to be dominated by Samsung Galaxy Y. Will LG Optimus L3 change that?
